La Chapelle du Clos is a single-plot cuvée from Clos Cazals in Oger. The grapes for this cuvée come from a single plot planted by Delphine and her father, Claude, near the chapel 25 years ago. Like the "Clos Cazals" Vieille Vigne, Chapelle du Clos is only made from 100% Chardonnay in very good vintages. We are currently able to supply the 2016 vintage.

10% of this cuvée is aged in oak barrels. Aging for six years in the vaulted cellars of Mesnil-sur-Oger guarantees the full complexity and finesse of the chalky Oger terroir. Somewhat fresher and lighter than its sister wine, "Le Clos," it expresses itself with distinct notes of white flowers, orange blossom, and white fruits with citrus notes; subtle and silky, with a delicate and persistent effervescence.

The freshness and acidity of the Chardonnay and the minerality of the limestone soil combined with the aging make this champagne ideal with mild and soft cheeses, shellfish, fatty fish such as salmon and tuna, and pork.
